It does seem a bit strange to be saying this about a funeral, but it was really really good. It actually couldn’t have been better. Everyone I spoke to later on thought it was splendidly fitting, and they couldn’t believe that you hadn’t in fact met (him) yourself, you spoke about him so knowledgeably and warmly.
